Genisson is a PhD student at Federal University of Pernambuco (I am his coadvisor).

Genisson is investigating landscape evolution in the semi-arid Brazilian northeast.

Adriana joined the group in 2022. She received a ConEd fellowship and her contributions to mapping river captures in the Paraná Basin made it into a paper that is currently in review in the journal Scientific Reports! She is currently helping the group map river captures.

Samiha is learning how to use GIS and contributing to our river capture mapping effort.

Laiba is using a landscape evolution model to simulate the lithologic impact on biodiversity.

Hector is working on samples from the Amazon region intended for dating paleochannel deposits. He is helping the PhD students process sedimentary samples for detrital zircon separation and cosmogenic nuclide processing.  

Yaacov is working on assessing the accuracy of smartphone apps in measuring heights and distances in the field.

Mica investigates if everything and anything with a scent is edible.
